It is my first time playing an Xbox/PC/Microsoft exclusive since the only console I was playing through the recent years is Playstation. If not because of my newly acquired laptop, the Acer Predator Helios 16 i7, I will not be playing these games. Since I am a gamer since birth, it is a new horizon for me be playing games on PC/laptop. Upon subscribing to game pass where I discovered tons of games to play in it, Quantum Break was the first game to capture my interest.
Overall, it is a good game, not great and certainly not the best. The storyline has an Inception vibe to it, especially if you are a DC fan and you have knowledge about The Flash, it is like you are in a warped or broken speedforce and you are trying to fix it with the antagonist who is played by one of the characters from Game of Thrones and a respectable character from John Wick, the storyline is kind of complicated and would be somewhat hard to wrap your head around. It gets interesting when you get upgrades for your powers and you feel like a speedster when you are run, everything stops. It looks amazing even if I set my laptop on medium setting for the graphics with a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 4K monitor especially when you are in a loop like the one on this video.
I don’t like the TV series elements that they have put on to this game, I appreciate the work and the artistic effort, but no. I find it cringy, I prefer having a TV series for the back stories or side stories of certain characters, but not in a game. It is like you play the story for 10 mins, then guns blazing for only 5 minutes which is a waste of the powers and unlocked abilities.
Gameplay is simple with lots of room for growth. Stealth is not very utilized in this game even if you want to. I hope if they would make a “Part 2” or any continuation of this game, they should update and improve on the gun fights, you have more control of the character which will compliment your playstyle. Making the story more interesting and impactful to the audience. The game has potential but it is too story driven. Nevertheless, it is a good game and somewhat a unique experience. I hope they make another better, if not, best rendition, reboot or continuation of this game.
I STOPPED AND DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE THE CAMPAIGN DUE TO THE COLOR AND LIGHT BLEEDING WHEREIN I CAN’T AIM PROPERLY AT THE ENEMIES AND IT HURTS MY EYES TO THE POINT THAT I FEEL LIKE GETTING A SEIZURE. See link below:

If you like Uncharted, if you like The Flash and the movie “Inception” by Christopher Nolan, then this a game that you will enjoy.
