When it comes to management games, I get rough when the going gets tough, so let's see I handle this game. How do people not get that insane thrill from playing games in this genre? Oxygen Not Included is all about surviving by earning more resources using the small loan of a million resources you start with. When I say I am good at management games, I like to think I have a good grasp at them, I manage, but this one was interesting. It wasn't the hardest, but I will say that it is on the more subtle complex side. By that I mean the game has physics and mechanics that are in someway intuitive depending on the grade you got in high school chemistry class. It almost feels rogue-like with how there is no explicit end. I will say the best part, for me at least is starting the base. It is a really satisfying game on that end alone. Completely earned the Overwhelming Positive on Steam.


As far as production goes, I ran into a ton a tech problems. I am trying to better record my content, and I messed up the settings causing the initial base I recorded to get corrupted. Which was rough, ruined my weekend or sure. Then my second base was also ruined with a tech issue, but that second base is this video. By ruined I mean I need to optimize my recorder settings because as the game chugged on and took more computer resources it starting skipping frames. I might need to upgrade my computer, probably will start selling my blood or plasma or maybe others in order to get a GTX3080TI on launch. Wait I think I hear you need a new type of power source to run it though, now I need to save for that too? Nvidia why would you do this, how much more of other peoples blood must you spill!
