You can use GSM with OPL (software to play games from USB, HDD). GSM settings will be saved compared to standalone version. 1080p option is only available in older OPL versions. I am using OPL 0.9.3.
1. You can burn the standalone GSM version on CD and boot it on your PS2 (modchip is needed!)
2. You can boot the standalone version via FMCB.
3. You can boot OPL (GSM included) via FMCB.
