Now I realize at $7.99 you can get a cable or small pack, but this makes all of your microUSB cables compatible with USB Type C and lets you re-use all those old cables if you are starting to collect multiple USB Type-C devices. This adapter works well and let me use any MicroUSB cable to charge my USB Type C Nintendo Switch.
