Taking forward its continuous efforts of building an active democratic citizenry in the country, Election Commission of India has undertaken a new initiative by designing a Mobile Application for developing a culture of avid electoral engagement and making informed and ethical ballot decisions among citizens of the country. The app aims to provide a single point of service and information delivery to voters across the country. The app provides following facilities to Indian voters:
1. Electoral Search (#GoVerify your name in the electoral roll)
2. Submission of online forms for New Voter Registration, shifting to a different
3. the constituency, for Overseas Voters, Deletion or Objection in the electoral roll, correction of entries & Transposition within Assembly.
4. Register Complaints related to Electoral Services and track its disposal status
5. FAQ on Voter, Elections, EVM, & Results
6. Service & Resources for Voters & Electoral Officers.
7. Tags (When, Who, Why, Where, What, How) based FAQ’s for better understanding of Electoral Process
8. Electoral Search (search by details or by using EPIC Number)
9. Filling of Electoral Forms for New Voter Registration, shifting to a different constituency, for Overseas Voters, Deletion or Objection in electoral roll, correction of entries & Transposition within Assembly
10. Register Complaints related to Electoral Services and track its disposal status
11. News from Election Commission of India
12. Articles published on SVEEP website related to National Voters Day, National Awards or any new initiative taken by Election Commission
13. Gallery posted on SVEEP website related to National Voters Day, Electoral Literacy
Clubs, Elections, Events etc
14. Downloads of Resources such as Circulars, Electoral Literacy Clubs (Tutorials & Games), Multimedia resources & election related publications are provided to enable voters to save the documents & read it later
व्ही.व्ही.आई.पी. अर्थात VOTER VERIFICATION AND INFORMATION PROGRAMME प्रोग्राम के जरिये भी मतदाता अपने नाम का सत्यापन मतदाता सूची में देखकर कर सकते हैं।
आयोग द्वारा मतदाता जागरूकता के तहत निर्वाचन गतिविधियों से आमजन और भावी मतदाताओं को जोड़ने के लिए अनेक प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इसी कड़ी में आयोग द्वारा मतदाता सत्यापन एवं सूचना कार्यक्रम VOTER VERIFICATION AND INFORMATION PROGRAMME (व्ही.व्ही.आई.पी) चलाया जा रहा है। देशभर में चल रहे इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत मतदाताओं को घर बैठे मतदाता सूची में नाम जुड़वाने तथा सूची में नाम सुधार करवाने के लिए यह सार्थक पहल की गई है। इसके तहत कॉल सेंटर की स्थापना देश के समस्त जिला मुख्यालयों में की गई है, जो आधुनिकतम प्रौद्योगिकी से लैस हैं।
भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने देश के करोड़ो मतदाताओं की सहूलियत के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की कड़ी में वोटर हेल्पलाइन एड्रांयड एप्लिकेशन लांच किया है। एप्लिकेशन को गूगल के प्ले-स्टोर से निःशुल्क डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है। इसके लिए मोबाइल के प्ले-स्टोर पर जाकर VOTER HELPLINE सर्च करना होगा। मोबाइल एप को डाउनलोड कर अब मतदाता अपनी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी या मतदाता परिचय पत्र के जरिए मतदाता सूची में नाम देख सकते हैं।
