If Hilda Was a Horror Series | The Worm Summary (Don’t Walk Home Alone After Dark)
Trigger Warning: Video does briefly mention a character's attempt at ending their life.
Today marks the new and final season of Hilda, the beloved animated series, so we're looking at the newest passion project by Hilda's director, Andy Coyle. Don't Walk Alone After Dark brings all the cozy, campfire-like aesthetic of Hilda but with the same spooky stories and feeling you get from shows like R.L. Stine's Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and The Haunting Horror. It's children's horror but amped up a couple of notches, growing with its audience to become something new and spookier.
We're talking about the second episode of the series, The Worm, in which Dr. Merrick tries to learn more about a teenaged patient who did horrible things and discovers something he wish he could unlearn. Did I mention there's eldritch monsters?
