Why Square? Why?

The latest Partner Showcase gave off a few big additions to your Nintendo Switch. Games like Sparks of Hope, Sonic Frontiers, Pac-Man World remake, and a few others. However, the one game that caught me by surprise was NieR: Automata. That game was for PlayStation 4 back in 2017, but that makes Mr question: if NieR can get a proper port on Switch, why can't Kingdom Hearts?! How can KH gets Cloud versions on ALL games yet Mortal Kombat 11, DOOM, and Persona gets proper native ports?
