TRE 1000 and 1001 were two UTDC Cab Cars, which were the ancient ancestors of the modern Bombardier Bi-Level Cab Cars. These two units were unfortunately deactivated in 2010. However, in recent times, mumbles had been going around that they would come back. But if they did come back, all they would do is remind us of the real reason they were deactivated. Because they were too badass.

TRE 1000 and 1001 are so badass, in fact, that their mere presence as fully activated Cab Cars would ruin everything of TEXRail and turn them into nothing more than an Extension of TRE, which 1000 and 1001 will serve as the extra Cab Cars for the extra consists to run it, alongside the two upcoming F40PHs. And also, Innersloth had to make up a story that they removed the Tan Color from Among Us because of colorblind people, when really, Tan can only be used by 1000 and 1001, because they're the only ones badass enough to have earned the privilege to use Tan.
