For this video, a new sound chip was designed and installed called UNSUBSCRIBE (Unauthorized Noise Sensation Utility Bus Synchronization Company Recorded Incredible Bitrate Execution) that replaced the Konami cartridge MMC5 (Memory Management Controller 5) sound chip and the Nintendo Entertainment System VRC6 (Virtual ROM Controller 6) sound chip used in the original game. The output really opens up the soundtrack and intended channels, revealing a pure sampling rate barely reminiscent of the melodies veterans find familiar to the Castlevania series. Castlevania 3 is available by Konami for NES and Famicom.
