If War Thunder's Me 163 was historically accurate
11,386The Me 163 "Komet" was another late war German attempt to curb the ferocious strategic bombing campaign that the Allies had set in motion. Constructed of wood and propelled using a rocket engine, the Me 163 was cheap, fast, and maneuverable. However, the Me 163 did have a fair number of issues. The volatility of its rocket fuel made fuel explosions a very real and frequent threat.
