🏛 ️ Congressional Power | The leader of the PL in the Chamber of Deputies, Sóstenes Cavalcante (RJ), said that the decision by the Speaker of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), to prohibit committee meetings this Tuesday (July 22, 2025) is "illegal and unregulated."

The Public Security and Foreign Affairs committees, composed mostly of Bolsonaro supporters, had scheduled meetings at 10:00 am to vote on tributes to former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), such as motions of praise. Motta's decision, however, around the same time, prevented the meetings from taking place.
