I'm a Water Snake! - Noobin' with Bayonetta 2 - Ep. 7
3Hey there everyone! On today's Noobin' with Bayonetta 2, we begin Chapter 5 - The Cathedral of Cascades. We also finally try out some new weapons and learn that Kafka is for staying far away from your enemies and Undine does all sorts of cool elemental moves. Remember that opening chapter that was all sepia toned and Luka was regaling us with a story about Aesir while we fought tons of enemies? Well we hear that story again only this time, we have the chance to focus on it. :)

Bayonetta 2 is an action hack and slash video game developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo exclusively for the Wii U. It is the direct sequel to the 2009 game, Bayonetta. Bayonetta 2's story starts shortly after the conclusion of the events in Bayonetta.
Familiar faces return in Bayonetta 2, leading off with the titular character herself. She's accompanied by her Umbran Witch sister Jeanne, cursing sidekick Enzo, klutzy obsessed follower/helper Luka, and the demonic shopkeep Rodin.
A few new faces join the cast of Bayonetta 2. Loki, a character struck with amnesia but controls an incredible power known as the Remembrance of Time. A masked Lumen Sage hellbent on stopping Bayonetta for reasons unknown. A shady character not yet revealed by name who is assisting the Lumen Sage in their quest. (I'm sure these characters will be explored further, I just haven't gotten that far into the game and don't want to spoil anything for myself).

New features introduced in Bayonetta 2:
- Umbran Climax: When Bayonetta's magic gauge is full, she can activate Umbran Climax mode which grants Bayonetta a short surge of power. This mode strengthens Bayonetta's attacks and combos with extra Wicked Weaves and Infernal Demon summons for a short period of time. This increases the attacks and combos overall range and damage while also replenishing Bayonetta's health when in use.
- Tag Climax: An online co-op mode. Tag Climax allows players to work together or compete for score in various levels of Bayonetta 2 unlocked by acquiring Verse Cards. These cards are acquired during the single-player story. Each level has different objectives, including intense boss battles and fighting enemy hordes. In addition to simply completing a level, players can also challenge each other for score through a Halo betting system.
