Phantasy Star Online is a defining game in my gaming career. Aside from being the first online console game I ever played (Dreamcast, my favorite console), it was also a fantastic experience that kept me busy for at least 300 hours.
The music, with its mystical sci-fi adventure feel, has a unique style, particularly the "Image of a Hero" theme, which can be heard in the character editor. I tried to make it more catchy by speeding up the tempo and pushing the rhythm a bit.
As usual, I used my favorite Junos sounds and quite a few Kontakt VSTs, all on Ableton.

Phantasy Star Online est un jeu marquant dans ma carrière de joueur. En dehors du fait qu'il s'agit du premier jeu en ligne console (dreamcast, ma console de coeur) sur lequel j'ai posé les mains, c'était aussi une expérience fantastique qui m'a occupé au moins 300 heures.
La musique aux accents aventure science fiction mystique a une patte bien à part avec notamment ce theme "Image of a Hero" qu'on peut écouter dans l'éditeur de perso. J'ai essayer de le rendre plus catchy en accélérant le tempo et en poussant un peu la rythmique.
Comme d'habitude, j'ai utilisé mes sons préférés des Junos et pas mal de VST de Kontakt, le tout sur Ableton.
