Welcome to Touhou 7.5: Immaterial and Missing Power! The 7.5 in it's title denotes that it's a side game, and that chronologically it takes place between Touhou 7 and 8 despite actually being released after 8. Unlike the main series of Touhou games, IaMP is a fighting game, but drawing inspiration from it's source it features a heavy emphasis on projectiles. The game is a result of a collaboration between the creator of the Touhou Project, ZUN, and the doujin circle Tasogare Frontier.

Any attack considered a projectile can be "grazed" by dashing through it, which is encouraged since blocking reduces your spell meter. The spell meter is the gauge in the bottom left. If it ever reaches empty by using certain attacks or by blocking you'll have to wait for it to fully recharge before using attacks that deplete it. The number in the circle is the amount of times you can use your spellcard, chosen when you pick your character, after declaring it. Which spellcard you use depends on whether you're on your first or second life.

During story mode, you fight specific characters depending on the character you chose. Depending on the stage number your opponents will have a certain number of unique spellcards that only the A.I. can use in story mode.

Playing through every character's story would be ridiculous and take forever to upload. I will do each of the protagonists up to this point, meaning Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya. Each will be split into two parts. Reimu is your all-arounder, being skilled with everything, though I personally prefer to just bullet spam with her.
