-Shards needed to unlock CAT - 330
-Shards granted in max hard mode crate - 90
QUICK MATHS: 90 x 3 = 270... but what about the remaining 60 shards?
The Wandering Scavenger has the remaining 60 shards. 20 shards per Conquest.
-Cost per CAT shard CURRENTLY - 110 Conquest Credits
-Bundle of 5 CAT shards = 550 Conquest Credits
-Therefore, 20 shards per Conquest = 2200 Conquest Credits needed per Conquest
-3 Conquests = 6600 Conquest Credits in total needed for Scavenger
But, currently we only get 2150 Conquest Credits per season
QUICK MATHS: 2200 - 2150 = 50 Conquest Credit deficiency.
Devs stated a pricing error for CAT Shards.
-Currently 110 credits per shard, next Conquest it will be 105 credits per shard.
-Therefore, 5 CAT shards = 525 Conquest Credits
-AKA 2100 Conquest Credits for 20 CAT shards
-Devs will issue 5 CAT shards to compensate the overcharge.
QUICK MATHS: 2100 - 2150 = 50 Conquest Credit surplus. Only use for Data Disks swaps!
TLDR
-CG will be giving out 5 CAT shards for FREE
-Therefore, only need to buy 15 CAT shards this Conquest season = 1650 Conquest Credits needed this season
-15 CAT shards from Scavenger + 5 Cat shards for free from Devs = 20 CAT shards this month of Conquest.
-Skipping out on 5 CAT shards this season means you save 550 credits. Keep as a buffer. Or buy the extra
5 if you want to be 125% safe.
-Next 2 Conquests, buy all 20 CAT shards from the Scavenger (2100 Credits NEEDED!)
-You only have a 50 credit surplus for Conquest. Use this wisely or hoard it.
-DO NOT BUY RAZOR CREST if you want to stay on track to unlock in 3 months
-You could use the 550 credits saved from the free shards to buy 1 bundle of Razor Crest.
