Improved bomb initial hover for Spirit Hover
9Much easier, and gives you a better position. Most of the time with a good initial, you can usually do Spirit Hover with 1 less explosive because of how good positioning is, as shown in the video. That's if the hover is executed well, and there are a few frames to flip on that will give you a great hover. From then on, an all chu hover is more consistent at saving 1 explosive.
You want to backflip before it explodes/as it's exploding, then equip hover boots to shorten the backflip. This keeps your vertical upward angle nice and straight. It's much easier to do it this way compared to the other method, and you can see the bomb.
You can instant shield drop the bomb if you want, it doesn't make much of a difference. Maybe 1 frame functions differently in the whole roll. Although a nice strat, it's not faster than pulling the bomb earlier, but you can consistently do 1 less hover to make up time.
