In this video, we go through the various Quest 2 improvements that are coming to the latest 1.1.0 update of the game, which releases on the 3rd November 2020.

The Quest 2 enhancements update brings a longer draw distance, so you can see more of the world around you. New volumetric and multi-layered fog effects. Additional level pieces, such as floating islands that make the world look much richer. Fixed Foveated rendering is now off, making the whole game appear sharper. Cloud shadows are also in, yet subtle, to make the world appear more alive. New snow look on islands that support buildings. Improved texture filtering and every appears to run a lot smoother also.
