On November 9th, 2020, Jeremy "Leighter72" Martin, a beloved member of the Crash and Spyro speedrunning communities, passed away. Leighter was a friend to everyone and always went above and beyond to support us. He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. 💜

On December 9th, 2020, various members of both communities, as well as others, streamed for at least 72 minutes in honor of Leighter. DylWingo and I chose to race each other in Crash Bandicoot 2; Leighter loved the original trilogy of both Crash and Spyro, it was how he and Dyl met, and it's also how Dyl and I met and became best friends. So it seemed like the perfect game to race in his memory, even though neither of us had played it in a while.
