Dear Social Media:
ME: Despite what it may look like or seem like on these "platforms", I am an imperfect man. I have traumas I deal with day in and day out. Wounds. I have so much love to give and offer. There are things I am still angry about and still hurt. My life is far from and has been far from perfect. Struggles. I was not taught by my father on how to be a man or father or what it means to be a man or father or even how to really navigate through life, even the "normal things" nor was he, so I know he did his best. I was raised by my mother and sister. There are things in this world and in my past that make me very happy and things that make me angry, sad and have regret, but I am trying. I'm trying very hard. I thank Creator|God each and every day for the ability to express these emotions through music, because I am not a very good communicator. I have insecurities. I am a people pleaser, which is both good and bad I guess. I cry..sometimes sob. I feel things very deeply (too deeply at times perhaps). Sometimes I love myself and sometimes I hate myself. I'm sorry to anyone I have hurt or mistreated in my life and I forgive and pray for those who have hurt or mistreated me. I just want to be "love". I just want to be who I am meant to be, fully and do things for the greater good. I wish the world to be good. I wish its inhabitants to be good to one another. I wish for all of the violence, wars and divisiveness to stop. I wish that no one suffered on the inside or out. I wish to be stable and content. I wish to not feel like such a "loser". I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I have faith and I have hope. I am human and in the end, this is my journey and I have gratitude for it all. I am. I love you all.
