0ok getting back to our floppy project (after we did a bunch of hardware designs last week, stay tuned for some exciting new products!) here's a USB floppy drive that we will use our 'flooper board to turn from a 26-pin FPC into a 34-pin IDC. and...it works! it's a straight conversion, just needs the mechanical adaptation here, and you can use these common USB floppy drives as an everyday standard magnetic-flux device. here we're reading an IBM MFM floppy. the samsung 321 can read mac 800ks, but the teac fb-05 is not as happy with those pulses!
