'In the Tub With' is a work in progress series in which I'll take a one off look at a game and it’s gameplay. I'll attempt to show off gameplay, the mechanics and provide some of my first impressions. It is in no way intended as a review but rather as a source of commentated gameplay footage for anyone contemplating spending money but would like to see it in action first. A Robot Named Fight is the latest game to fall victim to my ‘In The Tub With’ treatment so please try and stick with me as I find my feet in this loose critique of A Robot Named Fight and the A Robot Named Fight gameplay.
Developed and published by Matt Bitner Games, the A Robot Named Fight gameplay is entertainingly tough and fast paced. A Robot Named Fight also has great presentation with good enemy design so you may want to check out A Robot Named Fight as the A Robot Named Fight gameplay proves to feel very competent. The A Robot Named Fight gameplay evokes feelings of other metroidvania gmaes with it’s methodical room clearing and locked paths, forcing you to find new abilities with the challenging A Robot Named Fight gameplay.

A Robot Named Fight is a Metroidvania roguelike focused on exploration and item collection. Take on the role of a lone robot tasked with stopping a the entity known as Megabeast. Explore procedurally-generated labyrinths, uncover randomized power-ups and artifacts, find secrets, and blast meaty creatures in this deliciously gory Metroidvania.
Released onto Steam on 7th September 2017 the A Robot Named Fight gameplay is pretty fun and my first impressions are good, although the A Robot Named Fight gameplay is very unforgiving. The A Robot Named Fight gameplay has a learning curve I’m willing to tackle but it works and there’s many gameplay elements to explore such as combat moves and abilities, which once utilised, will likely make the A Robot Named Fight gameplay experience easier. The style of A Robot Named Fight is impressive and it fits the gameplay suitably. In my first impressions and gameplay of A Robot Named Fight I think it’s easy to see the game has a certain degree of charm.
A Robot Named Fight is currently released on Steam and priced at £6.99. In my opinion, the hard but fun A Robot Named Fight gameplay makes it worth the price tag and it seems there is a fair amount of game here to dig into. I can honestly say, the A Robot Named Fight gameplay is an enjoyable, polished experience that has kept me engaged and wanting to improve.
