I know you're tired of hearing people talk about copyright and patent, but I doubt you've heard this take.

The core idea is that copyright is being used to give people control over distribution. That worked when distribution cost something. Now that it's free, copyright should be used to do something else that helps artists.

I kinda falter in the middle, but the ending's okay.
