Addressing the Infinity Forum 2.0 via video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has been founded on democratic principles & the tradition of trade and commerce. India offers investors the most diverse range of opportunities. GIFT has promoted India’s vision of growth and some examples of the same are the doubling of airports in India, passenger aircrafts rising from 400 to 700, strong data laws, robust ship leasing frameworks, plug and play infrastructure, strong hinterland economy and among several others, he added. GIFT IFSC is a strong pillar in facilitating India’s global dreams, he said.
