TeamIndus is the only Indian team competing for the Google Lunar XPrize.

The prize is $20,000,000 and to win a team must successfully place a robot on the moon.

The robot must then travel at least 500 metres and transmit HD images back to Earth.

TeamIndus' launch is scheduled for December 2017.
