Little Inferno by Tomorrow Corporation is a very experimental game designed by the people who brought you World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth... it's a game that generally defies all traditional genre descriptions and largely takes place entirely in front of a fireplace, where you play the role of a child burning all his or her toys for warmth in a dark, slowly freezing world. I was curious about where this story goes since, as you'd expect, the framing is incredibly dark... but is also dressed up in silly, child-like glee. Without reaching the conclusion of the game, I feel like it might be a mistake to spend over $5 on this since the majority largely amounts to a toybox of pyrotechnics and strange toys. However, the presentation is top-notch as well as the graphics, effects, and sound... it's just a very niche title as far as I can tell. I do applaud the developers for being so bold as to try something this far out of the norm, it just may not appeal to everyone, and I guess, really that's quite alright.
