Here's a game where you aim to be King of the Road, like in Roger Miller's song of the same name. You play the part of a young buck mourning the death of his uncle, whom, after dying in suspicious circumstances that you had nothing whatsoever to do with, is left with his worldly goods in his will. Rather than spend the money on a college education, you decide to take to wearing leather jackets and buying a car to challenge your peers in life and death street races! It's like a prototype version of Need for Speed! You have one summer to go from Billy-No-Mates to the new King of the Road.

A semi-classic in its day, this is a simplistic yet fun driving game that is enjoyable enough to warrant a play even today, although it is far too easy to be taken seriously. The sequel addressed the difficulty issue a bit too far, becoming somewhat impossible instead.
