Infra in 1 Minute: New gas cylinder program brings challenges

🏗 ️ Poder Infra | In the 140th episode of the program Infra em 1 Minuto, Pedro Rodrigues analyzes the "People's Gas." The Ministry of Mines and Energy launched the project on September 4, 2025. The program replaces the former Gas Aid and provides free gas cylinders to beneficiaries instead of financial transfers.
The government plans to distribute 65 million gas cylinders per year to 15.5 million families. Beneficiaries will be able to receive the benefit through an app, physical card, printed voucher at lottery outlets, or Bolsa Família card.
