The primary use for this I find is for when using Archipelago randomizers, but it can be used for practice roms and regular roms as well.

When using this method for Archipelago, do -NOT- do this for base roms that it uses to form the seeded rom. It won't like that. Similarly, do not do this to base roms that will be used in LttPR, SMR, or SMZ3 seed generation.
