Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Injustice : Gods Among Us for the PS3. I play as Shazam.

Simply put, this a fighting game involving characters from the DC Universe. It was developed by NetherRealm Studios, the same people who brought us Mortal Kombat 9 and Mortal Kombat X.

This game was released after Mortal Kombat 9, and you can see that it takes heavy influence from it. The similarities between the two are significant (in terms of the fighting mechanics).
For example, instead of 'X-Ray Attacks', the DC characters have 'Super Moves'. You can also burn meter to enhance your special moves, exactly like in Mortal Kombat 9.

Despite the similarities though, this game has a number of new, unique and welcome features, most notably the 'Clash System' and 'Stage Transitions'. And even though I'm not much of a fan of DC characters, they're a blast to play! You have heroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern, as well as villains such as Bane, Doomsday and Lex Luthor. Scorpion from Mortal Kombat is even a playable character!

This game is a must for any fighting game fan. It's incredibly enjoyable to play, and has a lot of depth and technicality to it. You'll find yourself racking up hours in practice mode mastering your chosen fighters combos!
