I started recording halfway because after multiple attempts I never thought I'd get that far with a new build I was trying out.

You can see all the build info at the beginning of the video as I show the stats from the pause menu. I also show more detailed stuff like permanent upgrades, modifier options etc. in the end at the hub area.

Instead of sickle I wanted to get champagne, but rng didn't favor me. The hunter character and his "no recoil" perk make champagne extremely overpowered, maybe the best weapon in the game once evolved. So far red and purple champagne have been the most powerful choices.

As you can see from the video, 4th map on nightmare is a tedious, slow, boring and badly designed experience. In order to survive, you basically need to create a build where you can damage the boss while pressing down the UP key. Just hold it down and never let go because if you do, you'll easily get one shotted unless you have the right defensive skills. I turned to face the boss at first so that blue gun could do more dmg to it, but then later on I noticed that it actually did more damage from bouncing back and forth the screen. It's kinda funny and interesting to see how I learn and adapt to the boss fight as it goes on. Sometimes the boss gets stuck or you go too fast, so you have to stop until you see its hp bar go down. Then just start walking up again.

And what do you get from beating the 4th map on nightmare? Apparently just one new song at the hub area and a recipe, which you might already have from mindless ingredient grinding and testing. That's it. No special dialogue from other characters, no achievements, no special item just to show you did it. Nothing. I don't usually care about any kind of rewards with challenge runs, because the satisfaction from beating them is enough for me. But not this time, because the whole experience was just horrible. It wasn't worth it.

This was the most tedious and boring thing I've played in survivor/bullet heaven games. lol
