This episode I finally get to play Inscryption, after truly enjoying the other work of Daniel Mullins.

Primarily a seemingly transparent card game set in a creepy cabin, the game quickly takes you down a rabbit hole of unique mechanics, meta commentary and bizarre 4th wall breaking errors that provide an extremely unique and refreshing adventure.

What makes this game so wonderfully fun to play is that the game acts as a vehicle for strange plot behind it, but the card mechanic are so in depth, clever and engaging it simply could have been a card game and still have been extremely successful alone.

This video game is perhaps the developer's magnum opus; it combines an enjoyable card game with his on-going trend of 4th wall plotlines. I can't spoil it too much for you but, as opposed to say The Hex or Pony Island, where the game is simply a tool for the plot, this game is a mix of great gameplay AND PLOT.

In terms of replay ability I can see several playthroughs just for the card game alone, and I give this fellow a solid....
