AMD have revealed a range of Epyc 3000 processors and Ryzen v1000 APUS. These solutions will be used in everything from medical equipment, gambling machines and network solutions.
In the Ryzen V1000 it will be powered by up to 4 ZEN cores, and 11 Vega cores, and support RAM speeds up to 3200.
With the Epyc it will be almost similar specs to threadripper with 16 cores, 32 threads, but only 3.1GHZ turbo, 10gbe connections, and 4 channels of RAM
INtel's Discrete GPU shown off at the solid state conference isn't intended to be used as a production design, but instead just one direction that AMD might go with its GPU design. THe 1.54 billion tranistor design was built on 14nm, and was based upon the intel 9th generation gpu technology
Finally, intel have released a plethora of microcode updates for the 6,7 and 8th generation core processors which shall allow the CPUs to be hardened against spectre and meltdown
