Intel i7 5960X Hyper Threading On 4.5GHz VS Hyper Threading Off 4.6GHz Gaming (Re upload)
Sorry I had to make some revisions as a viewer realised I muddled up my minimum fps with my averages, I try to maintain a decent standard in my videos so rather than put in annotations I revised the project and also added in an additional test .I was doing a little bit of Experimenting with my Intel i7 5960X. I realised with 8 real cores it is quite the beast, but with an additional 8 virtual cores due to hyper threading things could be a little unoptimised when it comes to running gaming. No developer is really going to code for all those threads so I decided to see what effect gaming performance has without hyper threading. I also added an additional 0.1GHz to the core clock to compensate. Check out my results.
