Intel's Skylake is rumored to be delayed until the third quarter of 2015, with the reasons supposedly because of the tight release schedule due to the die shrink of Broadwell.
It's also said that Skylake won't overclock, and Intel will only provide this after launch.
AMD meanwhile are working on their own desktop based CPUs known as ZEN, which will of course be x86-64 bit.,
