Intel® Application Optimization on 12600K + FSR 2.0 7900XT test in Red Dead Redemption 2
5Intel released Intel® Application Optimization recently on 12th and 13th series CPUs.
We're taking a look at it if it does anything for us in RDR2 on 3440x1440, with maxed out settings.
Every result is based on multiple runs and I always chose the best one of each.
I left FSR on Quality, since it's already providing a good enough result that is very much playable with basically perfect image quality.
Let me know if you'd like to see the test repeated when FSR3 comes in RDR2.
As of today Intel APO doesn't really do much for us, but it doesn't hurt either.
While playing it feels like we get basically no noticable stuttering (0.1% lows) when turned on, so this is good.
