Interesting Instrumentation - Ep. 2: Tomoya Ohtani and the Sampling of Vinyl Records in Sonic Games
Tomoya Ohtani is the current Sound Director of the Sonic franchise, having created or having a major part in most of Sonic's soundtracks since 2001. However, there is a substantial part about his music creation process that remains relatively unknown, and that is his use of sampling real records from the 60s and 70s to make some of his most memorable productions. Welcome to the second episode of Interesting Instrumentation where we talk about the sampling of Tomoya Ohtani and SEGA Sound Team!
