This is classed as a rhythm fitness experience, having played it for around twenty minutes, i believe that the emphasis should be more on the fitness.
Currently there are five music tracks and.... i am going to call them workouts, of varying difficulties and one location, Hong Kong and once you begin playing a music track you will will see three coloured lanes, blue green and red laid out before you in the centre of a night street scene.
The workout is cleverly brought together as a combination of shooting pairings or groups of coloured viruses that come towards you, whilst ducking or side stepping the dark ones. you score for hitting each of the coloured virus and have five lives which will be reduced by one for every coloured virus you miss or dark one that hits you.
Like any rhythm based experience, learning the patterns is vitally important insetting yourself up for the next virus quicker. The tracking feels solid and the visuals work well allowing you to see oncoming waves in plenty of time. you soon learn good co=ordination is the key, virus will often come at you in a different lane to the colour you need to be standing on, after a few plays it becomes easier. My one issue, being an older VR user, the crouch is much more like a squat and much lower than i have experienced in other games of this genre and i hope an option to just duck will be available for us less mobile gamers.
