The iPhone 14 Plus is Apple's first non-Pro iPhone that sports the larger 6.7-inch display size - join me for the unboxing and review. You can now get the largest iPhone display without having to pay for the most expensive iPhone available. The iPhone 14 Plus at 6.7 inches is much more comfortable to hold than the iPhone 14 Pro with the same screen size, thanks to the lighter weight of the aluminum versus the heavier stainless steel. In fact, the 5.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus is actually lighter than the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro. I have the purple model here, which barely looks purple at all!
Apple has also updated the main camera too. They took the main camera from the iPhone 13 Pro, and have integrated it into the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. That means there's a larger sensor with larger pixels, f/1.5 aperture for a 49% improvement in low light for photos and video, and sensor-shift optical image stabilization also makes an appearance here on a non-Pro iPhone for the first time.
The iPhone 14 Plus has the longest battery life of any iPhone ever released. It'll will give you even more battery life than the iPhone 14 Pro Max - that's impressive. I was able to go from taking it off of the charger at 8am to having 17% battery life left 14 hours later at 10pm.
