18A Civil War brews in The High Heavens, as the destruction of the worldstone prompts angels to take sides on what to do with humanity. One Archangel Malthael who is the Aspect of Wisdom, has a plan to end the Eternal Conflict once and for all... Build an engine of Destruction to Wipe out Humanity and restart Sanctuary. However this machine has grown out of control and unleashes an army of Holy Undead warriors who have no fear of holy fire. Which have now become nearly unstoppable... Its up to the band of Heroes of Sanctuary to help the Angels save the high heavens before the Burning Hells have a chance to take advantage of the distraction.... During the battle The Creator of the machine, Malthael, goes into self imposed exile while contemplating his existence. These Events take place right after the Destruction of the Worldstone and the events of Diablo III.
