We're taking a look at some video codecs today specifically HEVC and VP9 and how they stack up against our good old H.264 that we've been using for years and years now. I honestly didn't expect HEVC to integrate so well into my Adobe workflow but as of right now it's almost a viable option if you have an hour or so of extra encode time. The lower file sizes are a plus and the ability to upload at 1080p 60fps and not have to upscale just to get a higher bitrate on Youtube is nice as well.
