Hytale is said to be an game of adventure and creativity. Created by Hypixel Studios, Hytale will combine aspects of sandbox and roleplay games by introducing players to procedurally generated worlds with towers, dungeons, and rewards.

Minecraft is a sandbox game created by Mojang. Allowing players to build, create, and explore through the block based generated world, Minecraft is the second best selling game of all time. By gather, crafting, and combating, Minecraft players enjoy the endless game types and opportunities that is allowed by the game.

Since the release of Hytale's game trailer on YouTube, it has been compared to Minecraft. Being called "Minecraft 2" or the "Minecraft Killer," Hytale has seen garnered expectations. Being developed by Hypixel Studios, the blocky design of the game, and sandbox nature of the game creates vast comparisons to Minecraft. But is Hytale really Minecraft 2? This video attempts to explain my perspective on that question and why it may be unfair to say that.
