6I forgot to mention that we have many examples of nowadays christian pastors or Ieaders forsaking and leaving their faith, and actually turning against Christianity! It's true that probably some of those weren't truly christians, but some were, and it would make no sense if faith and salvation couldn't be lost in the first place, so that's another thing that confirms what the Bible teaches.
I understand that the feeling of comfort that you get from believing that "once saved, always saved" can be reassuring and nice, but we have to let ourselves be guided by the truth of the Word of God and believe it, even when it confronts us or we don't like it.
I know I couldn't talk about and explain every single aspect of this topic, but I hope I was able to show what the Bible teaches regarding losing faith and salvation!
