After reading and watching tons of negative reviews for Joker 2, and even hearing that Todd Phillips sabotaged his own film, I had to see the film for myself tonight. To be completely honest I really enjoyed the film, even though it is a highly depressing movie, and extremely dark tones, the movie's musical numbers didn't surprise me at all. This is simply Arthur Flex's way to escape reality and buffer himself from the immense trauma that he has experienced throughout his life. I really enjoyed the film, however I can see why many will not like it. This is my physiological assessment of the moview.
