MiniMancer is the new game by James Flannery.
MiniMancer is a strategy unit composition game based on building a team of seven soldiers in order to conquer the map. The team consists of 2 backline units, 3 support roles, and 2 frontline tanks. By building a team with unique synergy and the correct resistances your team can deal with the 3 waves of enemies that attack in each level.
The game takes advantage of a damage/resistance system which should reward running different unit compositions in each level but does not seem like it makes much of a difference overall.
The game lacks replay ability and suffers from an endgame that isn't satisfying to reach. Differing levels that involve more waves, boss type units, or just stronger units in general would make progressing through the game more fun.
