With a recent DDOS attack against the LittleBigPlanet servers, this might spell the end of the series. See, this series is meant to have an active community with the ability to play online, if you take that away, then the series is basically nothing. Sony has responded to the situation though, claiming to bring the servers back up soon. However, we have seen this same scenario before with the LittleBigPlanet social media account. They claimed they'd bring the account back up after it was hacked, but 5 months later, and nothing... ​Really, only time will tell the fate of the series.
