16Who is Mr terrific aka Michael Holts? Well he first appeared in The Spectre (vol. 3) #54 in June 1997. He was created by John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake.
He is the second character to take up the title Mr terrific. This is because the spectre appeared before him and told him of the first Mr terrific which inspired Mr Holt.
He had genius-level intellect, advanced technology, gymnastic ability, and is a skilled fighter. His wife and yet to be born child perished in a freak accident. Regardless, Holt remains dedicated to keeping the vow he made to his late wife—to solve everyone's problems.
