Is PSVR2 in trouble? In today’s video I wanted to talk about the current state of PlayStation VR2 and what its future might look like in 2025 and beyond. With major games like Beat Saber ending support, and other titles like Frenzies and Mannequin being pulled from PSVR2 after being officially announced for PSVR2, many fans are questioning is Sony is backing away from its VR ambitions. Even the latest PlayStation budget report failed to mention PSVR2, raising concerns about its long-term viability. Add to that the lack of PlayStation-exclusive VR titles and studios like Triangle Factory skipping the platform — and now people are searching “is PSVR2 a failure?” or “is PSVR2 being discontinued?” But it’s not all doom and gloom. Big titles like Reach, Vertigo 2, and Thief VR are still confirmed, and the possibility of Resident Evil 9 getting VR support brings some hope. If you’re wondering whether PSVR2 is worth it in 2025, this video breaks it all down and I look forward to your comments
