122👋 Is The 2022 KIA Stinger GT2 a True Performance Car? We have the new 2022 KIA Stinger GT2 RWD, so we decided to take it on a mountain road trip! Le'ts test out the performance of the twin turbocharged KIA Stinger GT and see how much of a performance car it really is? We rip the 2022 Stinger GT through some amazing mountain roads and put it to the test to see how well the RWD and twin turbo engine work! The KIA Stinger GT really is a quick car. We love the power and how snappy the transmission feels. Steering is also pretty direct feeling. The Brembo brakes work great as well to bring this heavier sportback sedan to a stop! I would like to see some better suspension tho for the Stinger GT. I'm sure its a sport tuned setup, but it really doesn't handle the tight mountain roads as good as we expected. Normal driving and spirited driving its very comfortable and perfectly fine. But once you through some performance driving into the mix, the Stinger GT needs to have an adaptive suspension. I think the drive modes need to do more then just sharpen throttle response. A stiffer suspension setup and tighter chassis dynamics would make the KIA Stinger GT right on par with the BMW M440i Gran Coupe and the Audi S5 Sportback. However the Stinger is a solid $10k less than those cars. But we think for the KIA Stinger to be a true budget rival, we need to see a handling package that can beef up how this take turns and settle s the weight. Overall the Stinger GT is a fun car for sure and is a great daily driver with a very sporty aspect. But it just needs a bit more upgrades!
