This week, I'm bringing you an express review of the recently released F4U-1D Corsair, the legendary World War II naval fighter, now available in Early Access in DCS World. And we're doing it the way we like it: firing engines, taking off, flying, and combating over the new free Mariana Islands WWII scenario.
During the video, we walk through step-by-step the engine start, the tactical flight over Guam, the air-to-ground attack against enemy targets, and a final WWII-style landing. All this with an extremely detailed module, featuring a clickable cockpit, advanced flight dynamics, and spectacular sound.
We also test the new Essex-class aircraft carrier, several added Japanese vehicles, and the new missions that accompany the release. Does it live up to expectations? Is it worth buying? Is this the best DCS WWII module yet? In this video, I'll show you everything in no uncertain terms.
