Is The Prosperity Gospel (Word of Faith Movement) Wrong?
Some Prosperity Gospel, or Word of Faith Movement, teachings include that Jesus died for our physical health and wealth, with faith you can "claim things" (Name it and Claim it), seed faith offering (which is basically, for example, if you give God $10, He'll give you $1,000 back), Jesus was rich, and that the idea of God using suffering for our benefit is a lie by Satan. Some prosperity teachers include Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and Kenneth Hagin. Some of you may be able to quickly tell whether this theology is right or wrong, but if you don't, it's okay. I will gladly tell you if it's false teaching/blatant heresy or if it's correct theology. I hope you find this video helpful, and thanks for watching!
